Of course it's the proper security protocol. Less guns make people safer

Yet POTUS is actively arguing that kids would be safer if there were more guns around.

I'm sure all those people are 'good guys' who could have guns. And I bet some are trained in how to use a firearm. But allowing all known good guys with guns into the building with their guns would not make the environment safer. Guns add a very risky element. That's just common sense to keep guns away. I don't see why that same common sense doesn't apply to teachers and classrooms.
